Scent 1: Rain
Rain has always had that distinct, strong smell when it hits the pavement. It's a smell I always liked, because it was so unique in its own way. It always triggers memories of rainy days that I enjoy, reminding me of the nice sound it makes. When: May 10, Kaneohe
Scent 2: Lemon
I usually wash the dishes, so I can always identify it by its citrus scent. I always use it to clean my shoes. When: May 11, Kaneohe.
Scent 3: Rubbing alcohol
Another smell that is entirely unique, yet I can identify it by its strong, sharp, almost burning odor. I recently had a meningitis vaccine, so my arm was wiped with the alcohol. It reminds me of all the times I had to get shots, which is not entirely pleasant. By the way, the actual shot does not hurt, its the achiness that comes the day after. When: May 14, Kapiolani Hospital. Scent 4: Old Spice Fiji Deodorant
I can identify it by its tropical, fragrant smells which remind me of literal paradise. My favorite personal deodorant, it just smells nice which makes me happy. When: May 11, Kaneohe
Scent 5: Not Exactly Chlorine?
This smells a lot like chlorine, but I am pretty sure it is not chlorine. It is a more subtle smell, and is not as overpowering as chlorine. It's the smell that reminds me of everytime I ride the Pirates of the Carribean ride at Disneyland. A lot of people don't like the smell of the water there, but I actually quite like it. When: May 11, Downtown
Scent 6: Pillows:
My pillows just naturally smell good, which could be from what they were cleaned with. The smell just puts me in a relaxed mood. When: May 11, Kaneohe
Scent 7: Coins
Coins have an interesting smell that reminds me of old Xbox batteries that smell because of all the acid. It's the kind of smell that makes me think that coins have a salty taste to them. When: May 10, Downtown
Scent 8: Portugese Bean Soup
Had it for lunch this weekend. I identify it by the rich, tomatoey smell. It reminds me of when I was young, because I haven't had it for a long time. When: May 12, Kaneohe
Scent 9: Car Exhaust
Smells like the gas exhaust coming from airplanes at the airport. Very pungent smell. When: May 11, Downtown
Scent 10: The Sewer
There is a drainage pipe right by the building where I go for tutoring, so I always smell a nasty-sceptic like smell. It just reminds me of everything that has to do with toilets. When: May 11, Downtown
